Research continues to show that when parents partner with schools, students succeed. YOU: Your Child’s First Teacher was designed to help you build a lasting partnership that enriches the entire community. These books are the tools parents need to help them understand their importance in their child’s education and to give them the information they need to actively engage with schools.

The YOU program provides parent workshops to bring school staff and education specialists together with parents to help create that partnership. The program also provides training workshops to staff so schools can fully integrate the series into their school culture and continue to strengthen their community throughout the year.

Home Language

The YOU books are currently available in Spanish and English. Each language version is tailored to its unique audience. Additional languages will be available in the near future so that every community has the opportunity to help students succeed.
